Securing the flow for Teva Pharmaceuticals

The Israelian company Teva, a global pharmaceutical manufacturer, has opened a new office facility in Overland Park in Kansas, Missouri (USA) to expand their international enterprise. To accommodate the demands of the newly built parking garage of the facility, a convenient and safe vehicle access was required. Having used the TRANSIT for nearly two years at their facility in North Wales, Philadelphia and receiving solid revues in the process, the choice for Nedap was easily made.

Window button

This Nedap system consists of TRANSIT readers combined with Window Buttons. The readers are installed above or near the entrances and exits. Every vehicle is equipped with a Window Button that contains a unique identification number.

Long-range vehicle identification

The TRANSIT long-range vehicle identification readers allows for a consistent reading of up to 4 meters (12 ft). As this solution is completely hands-free, it enables a steady and secure traffic flow during peak times, such as ingress and egress hours. Plus, as the Kansas area is known for the harsh winter and summer conditions it experiences, it eliminates the driver having to be exposed to the elements to present their credential.

This Nedap solution offers Teva the fast, secure identification and user-convenient parking access that their new office facility required.
