Nedap sounds the gong to celebrate the introduction of MOOV: the world’s first dedicated vehicle access control system. To mark this occasion, the opening gong is sounded by Eric Urff, CFO of Nedap. With this sound, the trading on the 11th of April 2016 is opened at the Euronext exchange in Amsterdam.

Nedap Mobility Solutions, part of Nedap Identification Systems, specializes in traffic flow optimization in Smart Cities, campuses and airports.

“The introduction of MOOV is a unique moment. We are now able to deliver the renewed and improved MOOV platform to our international client base. Vehicles are by far the most popular mode of transport in cities worldwide and systems like MOOV can contribute very effectively to a better and safer environment for city residents and visitors.” Maarten Mijwaart, General Manager of Nedap Identification Systems

Nedap, the N.V. Nederlandsche Apparatenfabriek, was founded in 1929, and has been listed on Euronext’s Amsterdam market since 1947. City accessibility in a time of continuous population growth is one of the issues that Nedap works on each day.
