Cross becomes certified partner for wireless vehicle detection
mei 11, 2016
During Intertraffic Amsterdam, 5-8 April 2016, Nedap announced Cross as a Certified Partner for Wireless Vehicle Detection.
10 years after Nedap won the Intertraffic Parking Innovation Award for wireless vehicle detection system SENSIT, CROSS was awarded with the overall Innovation Award and the Smart Mobility Category Award for its traffic monitoring system InVipo during this year’s edition of Intertraffic Amsterdam. With InVipo, CROSS particularly impressed the Intertraffic jury by bringing to life the concept of a smart city, integrating a wide variety of data, including parking availability.
Improving urban traffic flows
CROSS and Nedap together focus on improving traffic flows in cities. With the integration of Nedap’s parking bay sensor system SENSIT into the CROSS traffic management and information system InVipo, real-time information about the usage of parking spaces in the streets can be monitored closely and traffic searching for parking can be reduced.
During Intertraffic Amsterdam 2016 CROSS and Nedap announced the first large-scale ITS project implementation in the Turkish city of Izmir.
